Crisis Response and Stabilization Services

Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit
The Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) is a short-term program operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The CSU is designed to support individuals experiencing an acute crisis as they reintegrate into the community without the use of hospitalization.

Our clinicians work with individuals on solution focused goals in order to improve functions of daily living and build effective self-supported coping strategies. Client-centered treatment is based on the individual's identified immediate needs. The CSU values a team approach and works cooperatively with the individual, their natural supports and outside providers.

To make a referral, call (207) 701-4400 or 1-800- 540-2072.

Crisis Line 1-888-568-1112
This toll-free line operates around the clock. Individuals in crisis can call for an experienced staff person who will direct them to resources which can best meet their needs.
