Integrated Health Collaborative
School-based Therapy Utilizing an integrated approach, our school-based therapists serve youth with mental health needs, including social, emotional and behavioral difficulties. Counseling is provided to children within their own school, offering ease of access and availability in times of greatest need. Expected outcomes include calmer, more attentive students with a wide range of coping and communication skills that follow them beyond the classroom.
Our clinicians partner with school staff and families to provide a comprehensive team approach to help children reach their academic and therapeutic goals. Even after school ends in June, the school-based therapists remain available to provide support and continuity to children and their families.
Primary Care Integration This collaborative program provides easy access to mental health services by placing clinicians in the offices of primary care physicians. Therapy and psychiatric consultation are provided by professional staff from Mid-Coast Mental Health Center.
